Ford Credit Europe is in the middle of a major tech transformation. As part of this, a brandânew dealerâfacing finance tool is being rolled out across Europe to ensure the dealer experience is the best it can be and ultimately serves the customer efficiently.
Ford Credit is searching for a Group Product Manager, who will lead a team of product managers to enhance our dealer tool in the UK and rollout the new tool across the rest of Europe starting in Germany. This is a highly visible and critical role as itâs the main entry point into our modernised tech platform, drawing attention from the execs of Ford Credit globally. The main customers will be dealers using the tool in their dealerships and our end customers who will be impacted by the dealer flow.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team responsible for the delivery and growth of our dealer tool known as Ford Finance, ensuring it serves dealers appropriately and has the right roadmap to address future needs.
- Collaborate with and lead a diverse team of product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders across Europe to manage a diverse team across multiple geographies, ensuring effective collaboration and communication while enhancing and maintaining the core platform.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, build and sustain strong relationships to ensure strategic alignment and prioritise platform goals.
- Utilise technical expertise to guide the development of new features while managing and hardening the existing platform to ensure robustness and efficiency.
- Own and shape the roadmap, set and communicate a clear product roadmap, make strategic prioritisation decisions that maximise impact and align with business objectives, and foster trust with team members and stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of the curve: monitor and analyse competitor offerings and industry trends, identifying opportunities to enhance dealer capabilities and improve operational efficiency.
- Drive operational efficiency: identify opportunities to streamline the dealer and customer experience, while considering impacts on operational teams.
- Foster crossâfunctional collaboration: work closely with product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders to ensure the overarching product vision is achieved.
- Drive innovation and problem solving, turning business and customer challenges into opportunities for innovation and measurable improvement.
- Ensure highâquality delivery by collaborating with crossâfunctional teams to deliver impactful launches that ensure an exceptional internal and external customer experience.
- Measure performance effectively: define, instrument, and track key metrics; use quantitative and qualitative insights to ensure enhancements solve real customer problems and deliver value.

- 5+ years in a product role: advancedâlevel product management skills, demonstrated by delivering multiple products into production with significant adoption.

- Experience owning a product in multiple markets: you have built products to serve multiple markets and prioritised developments across markets.
- Automotive dealer experience: you have worked on products that impact dealers and understand the challenges they face.
- Fintech experience: you have worked in fintech, with experience of loan applications and servicing.

This position is based in Dunton, and it is expected the successful candidate will be able to attend the Dunton office for typically 4 days a week and remain flexible on the days they are required to attend the office according to business requirements.
