We’re Ford Creative, a Bristol-based branding and design agency helping brands flex, scale and transform through intelligent, beautifully executed design. Our clients range from luxury drinks brands to charities, tech innovators and horse racing organisations. We’re small, collaborative and fast-moving — serious about great work, but never too serious about ourselves.

We’re looking for a Junior Account Manager to join our team in January. You’ll work closely with our Account Manager to support the day-to-day running of client projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and communications while developing your own client management skills along the way. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–2 years’ experience in a creative or marketing agency who’s ready to step up, take ownership of client relationships, and grow with a business that values creativity, collaboration and character.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, building positive relationships and ensuring clear communication.
  • Manage client requests — from briefing the creative team to ensuring feedback is clear, actionable and delivered on time.
  • Oversee project timelines, milestones and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support the Account Manager in planning and executing branding, design, and digital projects.
  • Coordinate the studio schedule and workflow, ensuring the right priorities are in focus.
  • Proofread and quality-check all client-facing documents and deliverables.
  • Contribute to proposals, timelines, and contact reports.
  • Work collaboratively with designers, developers, and freelancers to deliver projects seamlessly.
  • Keep internal systems, trackers and status documents up to date.
Qualifications
  • Around 1–2 years’ experience in a creative, marketing, or design agency role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills — confident with clients and clear with creatives.
  • Highly organised with an eye for detail (you’ll spot a typo from a mile away).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects and priorities.
  • A good understanding of the creative process — from briefing to delivery.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Calm, proactive, and always one step ahead.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Resource Guru, Monday.com, or similar).
  • Familiarity with social media management and content scheduling.
  • A passion for brands, design, and creativity.
Progression Path

You’ll start by mastering the day-to-day delivery side — managing requests, timelines, and communication. Over time, you’ll grow into managing your own clients and responsibilities including:

  • Acting as primary client contact.
  • Managing freelancers and suppliers.
  • Overseeing budgets, forecasts and project profitability.
  • Developing social content and messaging strategies.
  • Supporting business development and growth planning.
  • Nurturing client relationships to encourage cross-selling and long-term partnership.

We’ll give you the training, mentorship and headroom to grow into that next level.

Why Join Ford Creative
  • A collaborative, ambitious team with a relaxed, friendly culture.
  • A mix of exciting clients across design, branding and digital.
  • Real opportunity to grow fast and take ownership.
  • Regular socials, creative workshops, and genuinely nice people.
