Ford Banister IP is a full service American intellectual property and ecommerce firm with a practice focus on U.S. trademark and copyright filings, brand protection, including through litigation, and arbitration. The firm works fully remotely, serving a primarily international clientele.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Remote IP and Ecommerce Attorney. The barrister/solicitor will be responsible for supporting the U.S. based attorneys in the preparation and filing of trademark and copyright applications, responses to office actions from the USPTO and Copyright Office, litigation before the TTAB and in federal district courts and arbitrations with certain ecommerce platforms. All staff attorneys take part in the firm's marketing and business development efforts.
The barrister/solicitor should be prepared to work side by side with the firm's principal attorney in Athens, Greece for at least the first several months of the relationship. After this initial period of training, the barrister/solicitor may work completely remote.
