Due to continued growth, our client has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Projects Team Manager to lead a small but growing projects team. In this new role you will project manage a range of significant installations and turnkey projects across the UK. This role manages and oversees the effective implementation of all projects and ensures they are completed on time, within budget and fully to the customer’s satisfaction. Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this position but other qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. The Projects Team Manager will lead a team managing projects for a range of industries with challenging targets and help develop customer relationships through engaging in the pre-sales process through to completion of delivery and follow-ups. You will lead and manage all personnel within the Key Projects team. The successful candidate will be an established Project Manager, possibly a Project Manager from a large contractor ready to lead a significant team, or an established Projects Team Manager. Ideally you will have experience leading teams, a formal project management qualification such as APM/Prince2, and experience in health & safety (qualified to Level 3 or above). If you have LEV Technical Qualification (P600/P601) then that is a real plus. Our client teams work on critical national infrastructure so the successful candiate will need to have a clear DBS check and may need to undergo security clearance. Additionally, a clean full driving licence as this role will involve some UK travel, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good IT skills and customer relationship skills.
