An award-winning landscaping company is looking for a Landscaper to join their growing team. The Landscaper must be time-served, highly skilled and with experience across multiple aspects of the trade. In addition, the Landscaper will have a strong work ethic, have a clean licence, have their own vehicle, and be physically fit and comfortable to work outdoors in all conditions. Our client is also seeking someone with drive, attitude and proven leadership potential to progress into a team leader role, with the opportunity to be running a team within 6 months. Key Responsibilities:
- Install high-quality fencing throughout the Cambridgeshire area
- Do garden clearance projects, including the removal of trees, overgrowth, stumps and debris
- May need to carry out basic landscaping, such as hedge trimming
- Support and carry out, if required, decking, turfing, patios and other landscaping features
- Prepare sites for landscaping work, which involves ground levelling, digging, moving materials and more
- Operate hand tools and professional power tools
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe at the end of each day
Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:
- Proven experience as a landscaper or carpenter
- Proven ability to operate professional power tools and hand tools safely
- Must have own vehicle and a UK driving licence
- Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
- Have a strong work ethic and are reliable
- Have a positive and professional attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to take pride in your work and a genuine hunger to impress
Shift: Typically starts around 7:30 am with a minimum of 40 hrs per week, but depending on the day of the job, hours can vary, so flexibility and commitment are essential to the role.
Salary: circa £19 p/h
