We’re looking for a Senior Military Sales Advisor to deliver exceptional sales and service to military personnel, their families, and dependents. This is an exciting opportunity to represent a trusted brand, meet customer needs, and achieve personal success in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Role PurposeAs a Senior Military Sales Advisor, you will build strong relationships with the Military/MoD community, delivering tailored financial protection and wellbeing solutions. You will confidently promote and sell a range of products, including ISAs, Kit, PA, and Travel Insurance, while working independently to exceed sales targets and business objectives.
Core Responsibilities- Build positive relationships with customers, their families, and camp personnel.
- Confidently deliver presentations to promote our broader product range.
- Organize reviews, manage appointments, and ensure sales administration meets regulatory and company standards.
- Conduct business in compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Exceed personal sales targets through proactive activity and self-management.
- Seek new business opportunities and generate referrals from existing customers.
- Collaborate with other business areas for shared customer benefits.
- Track and manage income through effective pipeline management.
- Maintain flexibility in working hours and travel to fulfill customer needs.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within a financial services, insurance, banking, military welfare, or related sales environment.
- Experience of developing new business opportunities and building long-term customer relationships.
- Demonstrable success in generating referrals, cross-selling products, and managing a sales pipeline.
- Experience of delivering presentations, briefings, or workshops to groups of varying sizes.
- Experience of working within a regulated environment and adhering to compliance requirements.
- Experience of managing administrative processes accurately and maintaining detailed customer records.
- Ability to work independently, managing own diary, appointments, and sales activity levels.
- Strong understanding of consultative sales techniques and relationship management.
- Knowledge of financial products and services, including savings, insurance, protection, and investment products.
- Understanding of FCA regulations, Treating Customers Fairly principles, and financial services compliance requirements.
- Awareness of the unique needs and circumstances of military personnel, veterans, and their families.
- Understanding of sales pipeline management and business development principles.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly.
- Confident presenter, capable of delivering engaging briefings to military personnel and community groups.

- Previous experience working with serving military personnel, veterans, MOD employees, or military families.
- Background in insurance, protection, savings, investments, or wider financial services.
- Experience of working within military establishments or defence-related organisations.
- Experience of managing key stakeholder relationships within military communities.
- Experience of mentoring or supporting less experienced sales colleagues.
- Certificate in Financial Services, Insurance, or Financial Planning.
- Professional sales qualification.
- Military service background or experience supporting the Armed Forces community.
