Forces Employment Charity are looking for a highly motivated Employment Advisor (Transition) to join its Career Transition Partnership (CTP) Future Horizons team in Plymouth.

Job role:

This role is part time 14 hours per week, £29,000 per annum £11,600 pro rata, based in RRC Plymouth reporting to the CTP Future Horizons Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • To interview ESLs referred to CTP Future Horizon, providing information about the benefits of the programme and assessing any immediate risks.
  • To conduct an initial needs assessment (either face to face or remote) in accordance with the CTP Future Horizons Business Management System (BMS).
  • Identify, engage, broker, and liaise with the relevant support agencies within the CTP Future Horizons stakeholders when immediate risks are identified.
  • Accurately register all CTP Future Horizons referrals, completing relevant documentation onto the Client Relationship Management (CRM) database within the appropriate timeframe.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key military staff at the relevant Training Establishment.
  • Agree a personal communications plan and preferred methodology for future contact with the referred individual, phone, text, e-mail, social networking, etc.
  • Ensure all CTP Future Horizons registration forms are fully completed and securely stored in in the Future Horizons Hub Office locations, in accordance with DPA procedures and BMS.

Person Specification:

The successful applicant will have an impressive track record of delivering high quality employment support, guiding and advising people from all age groups. They will need be customer focussed and be able to independently meeting targets and deadlines.
