Our client, based in the UK and Ireland, provides best-in-class genomic next-generation sequencing services to the Biopharma and Clinical Research sectors worldwide. Due to unprecedented demand, they are now seeking an experienced Hospital Key Account Manager to cover London and its surrounding areas. The KAM will play a critical role in developing relationships with key customers, building brand awareness, bringing market intel in-house to support commercial efforts and supporting the business in achieving its commercial objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing medical diagnostics business with an established client base, an experienced team, and strong, supportive leadership.
We're looking for an ambitious Hospital Sales Representative with expertise in Oncology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology, or Ophthalmology who thrives on building relationships and driving commercial success. Main Duties & Responsibilities:- Engage with Healthcare Professionals – Build strong relationships with Oncologists, Cardiologists, Nephrologists, Neurologists, Ophthalmologists, and their teams to educate and promote the service offering in line with the business plan.
- Territory Ownership – Plan, prioritise, and coordinate your activities to deliver on objectives, consistently meeting targets within your region.
- Solution Selling – Use consultative sales skills to gather insights on the genetic testing landscape, identifying challenges and providing solutions.
- Network Development – Expand your reach across hospital networks, including Laboratory Managers, while identifying and converting new business opportunities.
- Thought Leadership – Attend conferences, networking events, and educational meetings to represent the brand and expand awareness.
- Business Partnership – Support marketing initiatives and contribute to the wider commercial strategy.
- Compliance – Uphold HPRA, IPHA Code of Conduct, and all relevant regulations.
- Degree-qualified in Science, Health, or Business.
- Proven experience as a Hospital Sales Representative, Key Account Manager, or Territory Manager.
- Existing, active relationships in Oncology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurology, or Ophthalmology.
- In-depth knowledge of the private hospital network in and around London.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: solutions-focused, innovative, and commercially driven.
- Team player with a collaborative approach.
- Full, clean driving licence.
Please note this is a full-time role on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Company car, £15k - £20k bonus, 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
