The company delivers products and services to the medical community effectively and sustainably.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Orthopaedic National Sales Manager to join their experienced team.

The primary responsibility is to lead the sales division to achieve all targets and KPI’s set.

Your contribution will be pivotal to the company’s future and to its ability to deliver a consistently high level of service to its customers.

Please note suitable candidates would ideally live in central England, although other locations within the UK will be considered.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Line management of orthopaedic sales team to support them to achieve their monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Coach and assist the orthopaedic sales team in line with company goals and objectives, aiming to accelerate growth.
  • Provide the General Manager with sales forecasts on a weekly basis for the month.
  • Set and monitor KPI’s for the orthopaedic team.
  • Present Sales performance at monthly management meetings.
  • Recruit and maintain top performers whilst managing underperformers.
  • Work with customer procurement on commercial partnerships.
  • Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with key company stakeholders.
  • Continually monitor orthopaedic team members' performance.
  • Lead weekly sales calls with the Orthopaedic Team and fortnightly 1:1s with each BDM.
  • Play a key role within the senior management team, regarding company vision and strategy for the future direction of the organisation.
  • Help the business to identify new products and support the appropriate due diligence process.
  • Represent the company at industry events.

Previous Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience running a sales team is essential, preferably in Ortho Sports Med
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clinical stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Hungry and driven with a strong desire to succeed
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities
  • Resilient, proactive, and highly self-motivated

  • Please note this is a full-time, permanent, remote role working Monday – Friday.
