Our client, based in Banbury, is an established leader in medical and scientific distribution and is seeking a Clinical Sales / Support Specialist to join their growing Clinical & Life Sciences team. Working closely with the Laboratory Sales Team, you’ll play a key role in driving business development and supporting customers across the UK. You’ll be working across a broad range of laboratory solutions—such as laboratory fridges/freezers, blood analyzers, reagents, and related technologies—serving NHS and Life Science laboratory customers. This is a hybrid role covering the East of the UK with occasional travel to the office in Banbury.

Please note this role is both a support and sales role, covering Colchester, Norwich, Ipswich and Peterborough. Suitable candidates would live near Milton Keynes/Northampton to cover the territory and occasionally travel to the office.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:- Supporting tender and contract submissions
- Delivering laboratory‑based education and product training
- Organising and assisting with product demonstrations and customer evaluations
- Responding to customer RFIs (Requests for Information)
- Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities within the Eastern Territory.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and grow market share across the Pharma, Academia, healthcare facilities, and healthcare professionals
- Conduct regular customer visits, product demonstrations, and trials, ensuring strong client engagement and satisfaction.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams on project requirements
- Delivering product application and technical support
- Maintaining well‑organised documentation, team files, and opportunity pipelines
- Communicating proactively with colleagues to ensure smooth project progression
- They’re looking for someone with hands‑on laboratory experience (ideally with exposure to IVD or diagnostic equipment) who is ready to transition into a more customer‑centric role.
