Force Contracting Services - Civil Engineering Contractor Position: Site Supervisor Salary: £49,140 - £51,480 (based on 45 hour week) Overtime: Generally x1.5 Sat and x2 Sunday - site dependant Location: Ideally based near Worksop (Head Office) MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL & STAY AWAY About us: Force Contracting Services is an established civil engineering and construction contractor, delivering projects across the UK. Our work spans civils, groundworks, infrastructure, rail, utilities and specialist construction. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, we are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team on a PAYE basis. The Role As Site Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard. Your responsibilities will include: * Supervising site operatives and subcontractors * Coordinating labour, plant and materials * Ensuring works are carried out in line with RAMS and project requirements * Monitoring progress and quality of works * Carrying out toolbox talks and site briefings * Maintaining high standards of health & safety * Liaising with Site Managers, engineers and project teams * Completing relevant site documentation * Reporting progress and any issues to management * Supporting the wider site team and taking a hands-on approach where required Requirements * Previous experience as a Site Supervisor within civil engineering/construction * SSSTS or SMSTS * CSCS * Good understanding of RAMS, health & safety and site procedures * Strong communication and leadership skills * Experience supervising site teams * Civil engineering/groundworks experience highly desirable * Full UK driving licence essential The Package * PAYE employment * 28 days annual leave * Company van and fuel provided * Accommodation covered when working away * £30 per night staying-away allowance * Company-paid cards and tickets * Pension contributions * Tax and National Insurance handled through payroll * Consistent, ongoing work * Long-term employment with a growing contractor * Opportunities for progression within Force Contracting Services If you're an experienced Site Supervisor looking for long-term PAYE employment with a growing civil engineering contractor and a strong benefits package, apply today.
