About the Company
Force Recruitment are partnering with a well respected multi-utility and civil engineering contractor with an expanding presence in the Extra High Voltage (EHV) and HV cabling sector. With continued growth and new project awards, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to support tendering across major power and infrastructure schemes.
Role Overview
The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and commercially sound tenders for EHV/HV cabling and associated civil engineering projects. This role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to evaluate complex technical information.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for EHV/HV cabling projects
- Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Producing tender submissions and supporting bid documents
- Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
- Supporting value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
- Working closely with commercial, engineering, and operations teams
- Ensuring all estimations comply with internal procedures and client requirements
About You
- Previous estimating experience within power, utilities, or HV cabling
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Confident communicator with strong commercial awareness
