We are currently seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer for a major substation project at Bicker Fen, Lincolnshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy site team on a high-profile infrastructure project with an immediate start available.
Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works across the project.
- Establishing and maintaining site control points.
- Producing and checking as-built surveys.
- Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications and drawings.
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams.
- Maintaining accurate records and survey data.
- Supporting quality assurance and site documentation requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering, infrastructure, energy, or substation projects.
- Competent using surveying equipment including GPS and robotic total stations.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
- CSCS card (essential).
- Relevant engineering qualification preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.
- NG Persons ticket (Essential).
Rates
- 600 per day equivalent.
- Sunday: Double time (800 per day equivalent).
- Long hours available subject to project requirements.
