Role Overview
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the full commercial management of multiple civil engineering and groundworks packages, including:
- Commercial management of groundworks & infrastructure projects
- Cost control, forecasting & commercial reporting
- Applications for payment, valuations & variations
- Subcontract procurement and commercial management
- Final accounts and commercial negotiations
- Client liaison and stakeholder management
- Supporting value engineering and early project input
Project Exposure
You’ll be involved in technically challenging and high-value schemes including:
- Housing development infrastructure
- Section 278 & Section 38 works
- Deep drainage & adoptable roads
- Groundworks & bulk earthworks
- Mains services, lagoons & attenuation ponds
What They’re Looking For
- Experience as a Senior/Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, infrastructure or groundworks
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple live projects
- Commercially sharp, proactive and hands-on
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
