Force Recruitment are currently recruiting for 2 x Groundworkers/Dumper Drivers with National Grid Person accreditation for a major infrastructure project at the Dartford Crossing. This role offers long-term work, excellent rates and the opportunity to work on a high-profile National Grid scheme.

Location: Dartford Crossing, London

Start Date: 22/06/2026

Duration: 10–12 Weeks

Rate: £25.00–£26.00 per hour (CIS)

Hours: 10 hours paid per day

Weekend Rate: Time and a Half

Duties:

  • General groundwork activities including digging, duct installation and reinstatement.
  • Operating forward tipping dumpers safely and efficiently.
  • Assisting excavation and utility installation teams.
  • Working around live services and within National Grid work areas.
  • Maintaining site safety and following permit requirements.
  • Supporting site supervisors and machine operators.
  • Carrying out manual handling and labouring duties as required.

Requirements:

  • CPCS or NPORS Dumper qualification.
  • National Grid Person accreditation/card.
  • Previous experience within utilities, power, infrastructure or civil engineering sectors.
  • Good understanding of safe working practices around underground services.
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
