Force Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Civils General Operative to join a large Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) construction project in Musselburgh, Edinburgh.
This is a long-term opportunity working on a major construction project involving a full civils package. Candidates with experience on similar projects would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
The role offers 50 paid hours per week, with an early finish on Fridays while still receiving payment for the full shift. Weekend work is also available for those looking to maximise their hours.
Location: Musselburgh, Edinburgh
Rate: £18 per hour (CIS)
Hours: 50 paid hours per week
Start Date: 26 October 2026
Payment: Weekly pay
Duration: 3-year project for the right candidate
Scope: Large BESS site, full Civils package
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid, current CSCS Card.
- Must have a background in construction or civil engineering.
- Experience working on similar civil engineering or BESS projects is advantageous but not essential.
- Must be able to provide two recent work references.
