Salary: £17-20/hour (higher rates available depending on experience, qualifications, and tickets)
About the Role
Force Contracting Services are recruiting experienced Groundworkers to join our team on a long-term civil engineering project at Heysham Nuclear Power Station. This is a permanent PAYE position offering stable, year-round work, ongoing training, and clear opportunities for progression within a growing civil engineering contractor. Plenty of overtime is available for candidates to earn extra money.
Duties
- Drainage installation and repairs
- Excavation and trenching works
- Ducting and utility installation
- Kerbing, edging, and finishing works
- Concrete works and reinstatement
- Assisting plant operators and site teams
- Working to site drawings and specifications
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Working effectively as part of a civils team
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- Previous groundworks experience on civils or infrastructure projects
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Additional plant or streetworks tickets advantageous
