Our client is an Irish privately held medical device distributor operating across Ireland and the UK that specialises in the distribution of unique devices. They take pride in supporting healthcare providers to provide cost-effective solutions to achieve economic outcomes. They operate within the areas of Obstetrics, Stoma and Wound care.
We are delighted to hire a Key Account Sales (Obstetrics) Manager to join their growing organisation. This role can be full or part-time and is based in the Midlands, covering Key accounts across England & Wales.
- To identify new sales opportunities and develop existing accounts.
- Effectively manage key customer relationships and perform the role of Account Manager in all key customer segments.
- Conduct training within maternity departments on a range of products.
- Work with the Senior Management Team to achieve company targets and strategy at a local and regional level.
- Manage contract and tender-based sales opportunities across regions.
- To deliver the key performance indicators and sales targets for the programmes you have been assigned.
A proven background in medical device sales is required, along with the ability to manage a sales region effectively to achieve targets. Candidates should possess:
- Ability to communicate effectively with and to understand the needs of others in a sales relationship.
- Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
- Willingness to travel extensively across England & Wales to achieve goals, as required.
- Demonstrated computer skills, preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Aptitude to take on and communicate clearly complex scientific and medical information.
Please note this role can be full or part-time. Part-time would be 3 full days per week. Candidates will need to be based in the Midlands for extensive travel across the UK and Wales. Car allowance is provided.
