A market-leading flooring manufacturer is opening a brand-new warehouse site in Blackburn, Frontier Park and is now recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join its expanding operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a newly formed, high-performing team at an exciting stage of growth, playing a vital role in delivering excellent customer fulfilment from day one.

What the role involves:

  • Oversee health and safety in line with legislation and company standards.
  • Work closely with Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Team leader on alternative shift to ensure smooth compliance with handover, SLA achievement and risk management
  • Resource planning to ensure staffing levels maintained to meet business needs
  • Take ownership of a designated area, ensuring quality standards and process specifications are met
  • Drive warehouse performance and continuous improvement alongside the Warehouse Manager
  • Produce and review SOPs
  • Communicate effectively across departments
  • Recruit, manage and develop the team through performance reviews, training plans and ongoing professional development
  • Deliver shift briefings and manage first-line absence and disciplinary processes in line with company policy
  • Flexible approach to supporting wider warehouse and covering operatives in the event of absence or holidays

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 + 15% Shift Allowance & 4% bonus earning potential.

Hours: Working 40 hours per week on a shift – Weekly Rotation 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm.
