Join Forbici Bluewater, Kent

A New Era of Pizza

Are you passionate about baking, dough craft, and producing exceptional products every day? Ready to be part of an exciting new opening and help bring one of the UK's most acclaimed pizza brands to Bluewater?

We're bringing Forbici to Bluewater Shopping Centre, Kent, and we're looking for a Baker (Panettiere) to join our opening team.

At Forbici, biga fermentation sits at the heart of everything we do. Time, discipline and attention to detail shape every dough we make and every pizza we serve. Inspired by Naples, driven by craft, and shaped by the cities we call home, this is pizza done properly.

Our people make Forbici, and we're proud to be recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work in 2024, 2025 & 2026, reflecting the culture we're building and the talented teams behind it.

As a Baker, you'll play a vital role in our operation, preparing and managing our dough production using traditional fermentation techniques. You'll work with precision, consistency and passion to ensure every dough ball meets the standards that make Forbici special.

As a Baker, you will:

  • Prepare and manage daily dough production using our biga fermentation process
  • Accurately weigh, mix and monitor ingredients to ensure consistency and quality
  • Follow fermentation schedules and production plans with precision
  • Shape, portion and prepare dough to exact specifications
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, food safety and organisation
  • Monitor product quality throughout the fermentation process
  • Manage stock levels and assist with ordering key bakery ingredients
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure service requirements are met
  • Support the training and development of team members in dough production techniques
  • Take pride in delivering the foundations of every great Forbici pizza

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Baker, Dough Chef, Bakery Assistant or similar role
  • Passion for artisan baking, dough making and fermentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work early morning shifts and manage production schedules
  • A positive attitude and strong team ethic
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards
  • Experience with pizza dough fermentation is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided

The Benefits

  • Full in-house training through our bespoke RISE platform
  • 50% off your food and drink bill at any of our restaurants, anytime, for up to 8 people
  • Enhanced Maternity and Paternity packages
  • Access to up to 40% of earned wages and financial wellbeing tools via Stream
