We are seeking a Senior Health and Home Data Analyst to join our team and collaborate with our editorial team in creating top-quality content. In this role, you will lead our Health and Home verticals, managing our Data Analysts, and acting as point of contact for data queries from other departments.
You will work closely with our methodology, editorial and SEO teams to refine data-driven methodologies, support a team of researchers tackling unique data collection projects, and provide a clear, defendable ranking to our editorial team. Your research and analysis will be a core component of making trustworthy, relevant product and service assessments, and assist thousands of consumers in making their next purchase or health/home-related decision.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team of data analysts, supporting them in their deliverables and career development
- Feedback on SEO data requests for feasibility, usability, and scalability
- Feedback on methodologies from Methodology team for clarity, reliability and validity
- Leverage a team of researchers to collect product and service data, with a focus on Health & Wellness and Home products
- Oversee processes for quality control and data sanitization
- Perform analysis on collected data to identify top-quality products and services
- Collaborate with peers to introduce and develop new techniques and processes for efficient data collection
- Work with the editorial team to establish priorities and maintain regular pipeline throughput
- Review editorial content resulting from work product for accuracy and completeness
About You:
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Experienced in Tableau (Desktop, Prep Builder and Cloud)
- Comfortable learning new and bespoke systems
- Comfortable working in Microsoft, with an emphasis on Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize projects accordingly
- Keen sense of curiosity and strong ability to articulate reasons for ranking changes
- Previous experience in a quality role is preferred
- Comfortable managing your own projects and deliverables
- Comfortable managing and working with international teams
- Familiarity with Health & Wellness or Home products and services a plus
Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field, such as business or computer science, or equivalent training and experience
- Proficiency in using Tableau for data analysis and manipulation
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation is desirable
