Forbes offers a limited number of places for Law degree students (or non-Law degree students looking to do the GDL), who are in their second year of study onwards, to attend our Vacation Insight Scheme. Our Vacation Insight Scheme runs over the course of a week, during which students will gain insight into life at Forbes and working within the legal sector.
Students will have the opportunity to speak with our current Trainee Solicitors, Newly Qualified Solicitors, Trainee Mentors and Supervisors, and various Partners across the Firm. Successful applicants will be invited to our Walton Summit Office, where they will work within teams on a project set by the Firm and present their work to a panel of Forbes Staff.
Interested? The application process is similar to that of the Periods of Recognised Training and Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship. Students considering applying for such positions are encouraged to apply for the Vacation Placement Insight Week. Apply via the online application form before 30 June 2025 to be considered for the Autumn Placement. Save the date! Monday 20th October 2025 to Friday 24th October 2025.
