Forbes Solicitors are seeking an Applications Analyst to join our IT Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys understanding how people work, solving business challenges through technology, and helping colleagues get the best value from the systems they use every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Firm to understand business needs, review processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements to support system enhancements and technology solutions.
- Support the development, testing, implementation, and ongoing management of business applications.
- Identify and promote opportunities for automation, digital transformation, and effective use of Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Work collaboratively with technical teams, suppliers, and end users to deliver successful business solutions.
- Support change adoption through training, user guidance, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
We are looking for people that can demonstrate the following
Essential
- Previous experience in applications support, business systems, helpdesk, or business analysis roles.
- Previous experience gathering and documenting business requirements, and working with stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Previous experience supporting business applications and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates good Microsoft 365 knowledge.
- Aligns with the Firm’s values.
Desirable
- Obtains a relevant IT, Business Analysis or technical qualification(s), and/or Microsoft or Power Platform certifications.
- Previous experience working within a legal or professional services environment.
