Ideally located near Dundee, our resort is a central base for exploring some of Scotland’s most beautiful scenery. Alongside our lodges and leisure activities, we proudly operate an exceptional restaurant and events venue.
Why This Role?
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, while supporting senior chefs and learning new skills. You'll also help maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

Due to our countryside location, there is NO public transport to or from the resort.
Key Responsibilities
- You will assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality, working under the guidance of senior chefs to learn new techniques and gain culinary expertise.
- You will ensure all food items are prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standard whilst following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Health and Safety Management is an important aspect of this role, ensuring safe use of equipment and safe systems of work.
What We’re Looking For
- Basic Culinary Knowledge
- Previous experience in a fast-paced Kitchen is preferred but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Passion for cooking and delivering top-quality food
- A positive, proactive, and organised approach
