Whether guests are looking for a peaceful retreat or an activity-filled holiday, Forbes of Kingennie Lodges provide the perfect Scottish getaway. Ideally located near Dundee, our resort is a central base for exploring some of Scotland’s most beautiful scenery. Alongside our lodges and leisure activities, we proudly operate an exceptional restaurant and events venue.
Why This Role?
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to take ownership of the hot food section within our kitchen. You’ll be responsible for producing consistently high-quality dishes, supporting junior kitchen staff, and upholding the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

Due to our countryside location, there is NO public transport to or from the resort.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the hot food section to a high standard
- Ensure dishes are prepared and presented consistently to quality standards
- Support and help develop junior kitchen team members
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, health, and safety practices
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth service
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar Chef de Partie role,or 2 years’ experience at Commis level
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Passion for cooking and delivering top-quality food
- A positive, proactive, and organised approach
