A warm, dynamic family is seeking an experienced and nurturing full-time nanny to care for their curious and joyful 16-month-old son. This is a long-term role offering the chance to become a valued part of the family’s day-to-day life, both at home in London and abroad.
The nanny will be based in Stoke Newington, North London, with opportunities to travel frequently across Europe and San Francisco. The family are looking for someone adaptable, emotionally intelligent, and confident managing the rhythms of international travel, including short trips and longer seasonal stays.
If the perfect long-term fit takes time to find, the family is open to an interim contract from May to August based in London with summer travel.
Duties Include:
- Creating a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment for a toddler
- Planning age-appropriate developmental and creative activities
- Attending local playgroups, classes, and enjoying outdoor time
- Preparing nutritious toddler meals and managing nursery duties
- Supporting family logistics: packing, travel prep, and transitions
- Providing weekly evening babysitting and 2x monthly overnights when in London
The Ideal Candidate:
- Significant nanny experience with toddlers aged 1–2 years
- Confident travelling internationally with families
- Organised, proactive, and upbeat under pressure
- Emotionally attuned and collaborative with parents
- Flexible to adapt to different routines and locations
- Professional, discreet, and happy to muck in when needed
Annual Travel Schedule:
- Jan–Apr: San Francisco
- May–Aug: London + travel across Europe
- Aug–Oct: San Francisco
- Oct–Jan: London + Norway over the holidays
