We’re excited to be working with a wonderful family based in Canary Wharf to help them find a dedicated and detail-oriented housekeeper/nanny to join their household. This is a part-time, live-out role, and they’re looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. If you’re passionate about maintaining a beautiful home, have a knack for organisation, and enjoy working in a family environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The ideal schedule for this role is 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week, mostly in the afternoons. However, the family is open to discussing some flexibility for the right candidate. This position is a great fit for someone with high-end housekeeping experience who also has childcare experience and is happy to help out with their little one when mum is busy.

The family lives in a spacious three-bedroom and 3.5-bathroom apartment, and they take great pride in keeping their home immaculate. They’re looking for someone who shares their high standards and has a keen eye for detail. Your responsibilities would include:

  • Daily cleaning and tidying
  • Caring for antiques and fine fabrics
  • Managing laundry and ironing
  • Keeping the kitchen and pantry organised
  • Arranging flowers
  • Caring for houseplants
  • Setting the table
  • Serving guests when needed

In addition to housekeeping, the role involves some household management duties, such as running errands, accepting deliveries, online grocery shopping, and helping with travel preparations (packing, unpacking, and booking reservations). If you’re comfortable with light meal prep, such as preparing salads or warming up meals, that would be a bonus.

The family is particularly open to candidates who have experience with young babies and are happy to assist with childcare occasionally. Mum works from home most of the time, so they’re looking for someone who is comfortable working alongside her and has excellent communication skills.

This is a long-term role, and the family is keen to find someone who’s discreet, loyal, and has a positive, can-do attitude. They value reliability and are looking for someone who’s committed to becoming a trusted part of their household.

The salary for this role is fully negotiable for the right candidate, so don’t hesitate to get in touch if you think you would be a great fit! Interviewing now!

If you meet the requirements and are excited about this role, Forbes Nannies is looking forward to hearing from you. Please apply below.
