The Role
We are expanding our Analytics function and are seeking a Lead Insights Analyst to join our dynamic and growing Insights team. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and is equally passionate about translating complex data into actionable business insights as they are about supporting the growth of their direct reports.
You will manage an insights analyst, based in India and liaise with your counterparts in the UK. Additionally, you will be dedicated to a specific business area working with its General Manager (and their team members) to provide in-depth analysis and build data products to help them make decisions to improve profit performance. You will also represent the wider Data Team (Engineers, BI Analysts, Data Scientists) to the General Manager, and support them with any data-related query they may have. You will collaborate closely with the other insights analysts in the Insights team, who are based in both India and the UK. You will become the data expert for your vertical and will provide recommendations based on data trends and patterns.
This is a critical leadership role as our data organization expands to meet growing demand across media performance, optimization, customer insights, and advanced analytics. If this opportunity excites you, we encourage you to apply.
What you’ll do:
- Investigate performance, trends, forecasts and bugs across multiple traffic sources and user journeys, reporting back to stakeholders with recommendations.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to understand and gather their requirements, translating them into technical data requirements.
- Contribute to reporting and ad-hoc data requests from the General Manager of your dedicated business area and members of their team.
- Accelerate the organisation from basic reporting and analysis to predictive/prescriptive analytics by outputting data products that can be used to generate reusable insights.
- Act as the primary data contact for your business area, working with the General Manager and members of their team to gather requirements, prioritise projects and communicate progress on a regular basis.
- Communicate and answer questions based on your findings and recommendations to an audience of technical and non-technical stakeholders of multiple seniority levels.
- Support your direct reports alongside other senior members of the Insights team to answer any technical questions and prioritise work based on value driven to the business.
- Manage time effectively and prioritise tasks based on value driven to the business.
- Strike the balance between maintaining high standards of analytical work and delivering value consistently.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, with 1+ years in a leadership, management, or senior mentoring role.
- Expert-level SQL skills, including advanced functions and a deep understanding of how to query large, complex datasets.
- Experience with Python on either statistical analysis or data science concepts.
- Familiarity with data from Google Analytics (GA4) and Ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Taboola, Outbrain etc).
- Ability to translate findings into recommendations to stakeholders at multiple levels of seniority in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to communicate data to non-technical audiences through the use of reports and visualisations.
- Able to prioritise across different projects to focus on the highest-impact work and communicate those priorities to junior team members and/or stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail, along with the ability to “zoom out” to consider the larger goals.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally across global teams.
Nice to have:
- SEM and/or Paid Social data analytics experience.
- Experience collaborating with data scientists on ML workflows and experimentation platforms a plus.
- Experience in GCP.
- Experience working in agile environments, including sprint planning and ticket scoping.
Why join us:

- Wellness stipend and comprehensive parental-leave policies.
- Remote-first culture with flexible hours and a high-trust environment.
- Opportunity to shape a world-class data platform inside a trusted global brand.
