Position
- Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (OTE & DOE/Q)
- Location: Edwards Ford, Salisbury
- Contract: Full‑Time | Permanent
- Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 08:00 a.m. – 05:30 p.m. (30 minute lunch)
- Saturday rota: 1 in 4, 08:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly, successful workshop team at Edwards Ford, Salisbury. We are looking for someone who has a passion to continue learning and developing, with a keen eye for detail. If you are successful, you will receive manufacturer (Ford) and in‑house training, with clear pathways delivered through Ford's state‑of‑the‑art training hub.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification within the automotive or engineering sector and have previous experience in a vehicle workshop. An MOT qualification would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform Ford (and other makes) routine maintenance and service checks
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Produce reports on vehicle health and condition using an electronic health check system and following manufacturer guidelines
- Communicate technical issues to customers via intuitive video software and face‑to‑face interactions
Requirements
- Perform work efficiently and safely, in line with our in‑house processes and standards
- Adapt to changing guidelines
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Hold a full driving licence
- Maintain a positive, can‑do attitude
