Salary: Up to £45,000.00 per annum (OTE & DOE/Q)

Location: Edwards Ford, Salisbury

Contract: Full-Time | Permanent

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:00 a.m. - 05:30 p.m. (30 minute lunch) Saturday rota: 1 in 4, 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

About the role: We are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our friendly, successful workshop team at Edwards Ford, Salisbury. The ideal candidate will possess a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification within the automotive or engineering sector and have previous experience in a vehicle workshop. An MOT qualification would be advantageous, but is not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and service checks on Ford and other makes
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Produce reports on vehicle health and condition using an electronic health check system and following manufacturer guidelines
  • Communicate technical issues to customers through intuitive video software and face-to-face interactions

Requirements:

  • Perform work efficiently and safely, in line with in-house processes and standards
  • Adapt to changing guidelines
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Hold a full driving licence
  • Show a positive, can-do attitude
