The role of the Reservations Executive is to drive event and meeting room revenue from external meeting room opportunities and internal and external events. The individual will be accountable for maintaining high conversion rates from enquiry to booking and upselling add-ons to maximise each opportunity. They will be responsible for managing a daily pipeline of inquiries and existing bookings, processing payments, and liaising with the client until the day of the booking.
They must have excellent communication skills to ensure all relevant details are obtained from the client and passed to the operational team ahead of all confirmed bookings. The Reservations Executive will need to work effectively as part of a sales team and have excellent time management skills to remain in control of all live opportunities. As an ambassador for The Office Group and the Fora brand, they will be expected to crossāsell all products and buildings within our portfolio. This role offers a commission structure of up to an additional Ā£15,000 per annum, paid quarterly, of OTE earnings.
Key Responsibilities- Be the first point of contact for external clients for Meeting Rooms and for events by telephone, email or leads from the website.
- Qualify clients through preācall analysis to learn about their business and potential needs.
- Liaise with prospective clients and confidently qualify all leads, offering the best and most suitable solution for them.
- Upsell meeting room bookings to events when required to drive revenue.
- Convert enquiries to bookings through objection handling and detailed discussion around the portfolio.
- Upsell catering, tea/coffee and other addāons.
- Deliver and exceed daily/weekly KPIs set by your sales manager.
- Work effectively as part of a team towards group KPIs and targets.
- Manage and update leads and opportunities in Salesforce.
- Invoice clients and process payments.
- Ensure smooth handover to operational teams.
- Have expert knowledge of all buildings; their event spaces and meeting rooms and USPs.
- Be aware of company revenue targets and individual building targets.
- Support building teams to hit monthly targets, sell new buildings, promote offers or packages.
- Understand competition with proximity to our buildings.
- Support central sales team with general sales enquiries and sales line when required.
- 2+ years experience working in a telephoneābased sales role.
- MS Office, Word and Excel.
- Market knowledge desirable.
- CRM experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a fastāpaced, targetādriven environment.
- Handsāon team player with strong problemāsolving ability and exceptional attention to detail.
