Please note this is 4 days in the office and 1 WFA. Salesforce is a core platform at FORA, powering the customer journey from Sales and Marketing through to Contracting, Onboarding, Operations, Billing and Offboarding. It supports around 500 users across the business and is one of our most important sources of operational insight and reporting data. We’re looking for a Salesforce Platform Lead to take ownership of the technical delivery and continuous improvement of this critical platform. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys building smart, scalable solutions, solving complex platform challenges, and helping teams get the most from Salesforce.
You’ll join a core Salesforce team of three, responsible for 2nd/3rd line support, BAU and new functionality, while working closely with a wider business support team that manages 1st line support and user/data requests across Salesforce and other business platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a leading role in how Salesforce evolves at FORA — driving platform excellence, improving ways of working, and delivering solutions that support business growth.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, build and enhance Salesforce solutions, primarily using declarative tools.
- Lead delivery end‑to‑end — from solution design and build through to testing, deployment and post‑release support.
- Build, maintain and troubleshoot integrations with third‑party platforms including CPQ, DocuSign, marketing automation, ERP and billing systems.
- Resolve system, process and data issues, including more complex and non‑standard scenarios in a fast‑moving business environment.
- Promote strong data quality and governance practices across Salesforce and integrated systems.
- Identify and reduce technical debt, while helping to avoid unnecessary complexity across the platform.
- Partner with Product Owners, Salesforce Admins and business stakeholders to refine requirements, estimate effort and define acceptance criteria.
- Support safe, well‑managed releases across environments and contribute to platform stability and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to admins, developers and support teams, acting as an escalation point where needed.
- Work with testing teams to ensure solutions are robust, maintainable and secure.
- Manage delivery through external partners when specialist expertise or additional capacity is required.
- Maintain clear technical documentation to support ongoing support and future development.
- Stay on top of Salesforce seasonal releases, ensuring the platform remains secure, aligned to best practice, and ready to take advantage of new features where relevant.
Why join FORA?
At FORA, technology plays a vital role in how we deliver exceptional experiences to our customers and teams. Salesforce sits at the heart of that journey — and this role offers the chance to shape how the platform develops in a business where impact is visible, cross‑functional, and meaningful. If you enjoy combining hands‑on technical delivery with platform leadership, continuous improvement and real business partnership, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for someone with strong technical Salesforce expertise, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the confidence to lead delivery in a collaborative, business‑facing environment.

- Strong declarative development skills, especially Flow.
- Experience working with Salesforce CPQ.

- Ability to turn business requirements into scalable, sustainable technical solutions.
- Confident communicator who can work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a security‑focused technology environment, with a sound understanding of data protection, least‑privilege access, separation of responsibilities, and controls relevant to GDPR, compliance and financial data.
Technical skills
You’ll ideally bring:
- Strong capability with declarative automation such as Flow and validation rules, alongside the judgement to choose the right approach between declarative tools and code.
- A solid understanding of managed packages, including Salesforce CPQ and DocuSign.
- Experience with integrations including REST APIs, external apps, named credentials, OAuth, platform events, and error handling/monitoring.
- Awareness of middleware patterns.
- Understanding of Salesforce governor limits and performance optimisation.
- Strong grasp of SDLC and release management.
- A quality‑focused approach, with experience supporting unit testing, UAT and technical documentation.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to navigate both technical and business complexity.
- Knowledge of Experience Cloud, Einstein and AI chatbots would be a plus.
