🏢 About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on Maintenance Technician to help keep our buildings running smoothly and looking their best.
You’ll manage your workload through our in‑house system, Fresh Service, stay organised throughout the day, and work to ensure everything is completed to a high standard.
In this role, you’ll help keep our spaces up to FORA’s exceptional standards, completing day‑to‑day repairs, resolving maintenance tickets, supporting member requests, and carrying out proactive building walks to maintain a consistently high level of presentation across the site.
Your work will play a key part in creating a safe, seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone who uses our spaces.
- 🔧 What You’ll Do
- 🛠️ Building Maintenance & Visual Standards
Complete general maintenance tasks assigned through Fresh Service.
- Ensure your buildings consistently meet (and exceed!) our visual standard audits.
- Carry out regular building walks and log anything that needs attention.
- Always leave your workspace clean, tidy, and ready for the next task.
- 💬 Communication & Coordination
- Keep general managers of our Workspaces updated on progress of tasks
- Provide clear handovers when passing jobs to third‑party contractors.
- Flag recurring issues to your supervisor and ask for support where needed.
- 📦 Organisation & Stock Management
- Plan your day effectively to support the building’s priorities.
- Keep storage areas well‑organised and fully COSHH compliant.
- Maintain stock levels and help speed up turnaround by ordering accurately.
- ⚠️ Health, Safety & Compliance
- Follow all FORA policies and current H&S legislation.
- Work safely, responsibly, and with pride in the standards you set.
Requirements
- We’d Love to Hear From You If You Have…
- Solid all‑round building maintenance skills (painting, minor repairs, wall mounting, carpet tiling, furniture builds).
- Experience working in a customer‑facing building or facilities environment ideally at multi site level
- Confident hand and power tool skills.
- Experience supporting and coordinating with contractors.
- Ability to manage tasks using systems like Fresh Service.
- Clear, friendly written and verbal communication skills.
