The Role
As we continue to evolve our technology landscape, we're looking for an Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to help maintain, support and strengthen the Microsoft cloud platforms that underpin our business.
This is a hands-on engineering role that sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, security, networking and modern workplace technologies.
You'll work closely with colleagues across Infrastructure, Service Delivery and Project teams to ensure our cloud environment remains secure, resilient and ready to support future growth.
Working across Azure, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365, you'll contribute to projects, service improvements and operational support that directly impact how technology enables the business.

- What You'll Be Doing
- ☁️ Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Services
- Support and develop Microsoft Azure infrastructure services that underpin key business operations.
- Monitor, maintain and optimise cloud platforms to ensure performance, resilience and scalability.
- Manage core infrastructure resources including virtual machines, storage and backup solutions.
- 🔐 Security, Identity & Modern Workplace
- Support security controls, governance standards and secure configuration practices across Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Assist with identity and access management through Microsoft Entra ID.
- Contribute to vulnerability remediation, compliance initiatives and ongoing security improvements.
- 🚀 Service Delivery & Continuous Improvement
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support across Azure and cloud platform technologies.
- Support cloud migrations, platform enhancements and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, operational efficiency and service quality.
- 🤝 Collaborate Across Technology
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Network Engineering, Service Desk and Project teams.
- Contribute to technical evaluations, implementation planning and proof-of-concept activities.
- Help translate technical challenges into practical, business-focused solutions.

Essential Experience
- Experience supporting Microsoft Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service (Iaa S) environments.
- Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure services and cloud operations.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Knowledge of identity and access management principles.
- Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and networking issues.
- Windows Server administration experience.
- Power Shell scripting skills.
- Understanding of Azure security and governance best practices.
Desirable Experience
- Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) certification.
- Experience working with Azure Firewall.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Intune.
- ITIL Foundation qualification.
- Experience contributing to cloud migration or platform improvement projects.
