What You’ll Be Doing
Please note this will be a minimum of 15 hours per week to 35 hours per week, this will include weekends and evenings. Also this is paid on an hourly rate.
We’re now looking for an Event Duty Manager to bring events to life across our venues — someone who thrives on detail, leads confidently on the day, and makes every client feel completely looked after from contract sign‑off to final wrap‑up.
- Pre‑Event Planning & Coordination
- Act as the main point of contact for clients once their event is confirmed
- Lead planning calls to understand objectives, timelines and bespoke requirements
- Coordinate suppliers including catering, AV, security and cleaning
- Create clear, detailed event briefs for internal teams and partners
- Review floor plans, run sheets, risk assessments and event documentation
- Ensure all bookings and details are accurately reflected in Nexudus
- Spot potential risks or gaps early and escalating where needed
- Take ownership as the on‑site operational lead, representing Fora professionally
- Carry out full venue checks ahead of guest arrival
- Brief and manage event assistants, FOH teams and support staff
- Oversee supplier arrivals, set‑ups and deliveries
- Be the calm, confident point of contact for clients throughout the event
- Troubleshoot issues in real time — with judgement and discretion
- Provide basic AV support (screens, microphones, video calls, clickers)
- Monitor guest flow, catering levels, cleanliness, signage and accessibility
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients
- Offer expert guidance on best practice, venue capabilities and event delivery
- Anticipate client needs and proactively offer solutions
