We’re looking for a hands‑on, detail‑driven FF&E & Styling Assistant to support our Senior FF&E Designer in delivering beautifully styled, design‑led interiors across Fora’s growing portfolio of flexible workspaces. This role is perfect for someone who loves seeing design ideas come to life on site. You’ll play a key role in elevating our spaces through thoughtful styling, careful coordination, and flawless finishing touches – from existing workspace refreshes to final styling on new openings. You’ll split your time between on‑site installations and in‑office planning, working closely with designers, project teams, and suppliers to ensure every project is delivered smoothly, on time, and to Fora’s high design standards.

Styling & On‑Site Installations

  • Oversee and coordinate on‑site installation of styling elements across existing Fora workspaces.
  • Support final styling for new openings, bringing each space to life once core installations are complete.
  • Ensure installations are delivered on schedule, to a high standard, and aligned with Fora’s styling and design principles.

Styling Kits & Logistics

  • Manage the preparation, movement, and deployment of styling kits for each project.
  • Ensure all items are available, delivered to site, installed correctly, and returned or stored appropriately.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of styling items and materials.

Quality & Finishing Touches

  • Carry out on‑site quality and finish checks during and after installations.
  • Make real‑time adjustments where needed, resolving last‑minute issues calmly and creatively.
  • Ensure all spaces meet design intent, safety standards, and functional requirements before sign‑off.

Planning, Coordination & Communication

  • Support the Design team during project planning, helping develop creative but achievable styling concepts.
  • Maintain clear project documentation including style briefs, schedules, and installation notes.
  • Communicate progress, site findings, and follow‑up actions clearly to the Senior FF&E Design Manager and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year’s experience in interior styling, interior design, visual merchandising, or a related field.
  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Hands‑on experience with on‑site installations or real‑world styling is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of interior design and styling principles, space planning basics, and workplace environments.
  • Familiarity with commercial FF&E, suppliers, and industry standards.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple projects, schedules, and logistics.
  • Strong communicator – confident liaising with suppliers, contractors, and colleagues at all levels.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong visual eye.
  • Practical, solutions‑focused problem solver who stays calm under pressure.
  • Proactive and hands‑on – happy to roll up your sleeves on site and support planning work in the office.
  • Comfortable working at pace in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
  • Strong visual awareness of furniture, finishes, materials, and accessories.
  • Confident using Excel, PowerPoint, schedules, mark‑ups, and spreadsheets.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Interest in sustainable design and responsible specification.

Benefits

  • Core working hours with flexibility – because life doesn’t run 9‑5.
  • Two weeks “Work from Anywhere” – swap your desk for a beach, a mountain… anywhere that inspires you.
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Your birthday off – celebrate you.
  • Buy additional annual leave to create even more time for what matters.
  • 5% matched pension scheme.
  • Life assurance for peace of mind.
  • Discounted gym membership.
  • Health cash plan for day‑to‑day medical expenses.
  • Mental wellbeing support – confidential in‑person or online therapy sessions.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme.
  • Season Ticket Loan.
  • 25% off at Fora cafés.
  • 2 volunteer days per year.
