We partner with day nurseries, schools, and community venues such as cricket and rugby clubs, primary schools, and church halls. Our mission is to provide fun and educational football experiences for young children in a safe and friendly environment. With plans to expand, we are dedicated to bringing accessible football coaching programs to more communities.
This part-time on-site position is based in Salford. As a Football Coach, you will be responsible for planning and delivering football sessions for young children at various locations, including schools, nurseries, and community venues. You will foster a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where children can learn football skills while building confidence and teamwork. You will also communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff to provide updates and feedback about the children’s progress.
Qualifications
- Football-specific skills, including Football Coaching and Football knowledge
- Coaching skills focused on guiding, mentoring, and fostering development
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children and parents
- Ability to provide training and facilitate learning experiences for young children
- Experience working with young children or in youth-focused environments is a plus
- A recognized coaching qualification or experience in football coaching is an advantage
- First Aid certification and safeguarding training are beneficial for this role
