About Swallow Grange
Swallow Grange is a highly specialist Alternative Provision for primary-aged pupils (4-11) with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The Role
You will lead and manage all aspects of SEND provision across the school, reporting to the Head of Provision.
Qualifications
- Nationally recognised SENDCo Qualification (or working towards/willingness to undertake).
- Substantial previous experience as a practising SENDCo or senior Inclusion Lead, specifically within a setting supporting pupils with complex SEND and SEMH needs.
- Expert knowledge of EHCP processes, statutory requirements, and highly effective intervention strategies.
- Proven leadership skills in training, mentoring, and line‑managing teaching and support staff.
- A strategic and practical understanding of embedding a trauma-informed and therapeutic whole‑school approach.
