The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and dedicated SEND Teacher to lead a small class of pupils, designing and delivering an accessible, engaging, and therapeutically‑aligned curriculum. You will be instrumental in creating a structured, calm, and inspiring classroom environment that fosters both academic progress and emotional growth.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable success as a classroom teacher.
- Extensive previous experience teaching pupils with complex SEND and significant SEMH needs.
- Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and the ability to write and implement robust Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Expertise in adapting curriculum content to meet the diverse and individual needs of pupils with significant barriers to learning.
- A commitment to collaborative working within a multidisciplinary therapeutic team.
