Swallow Grange is a highly specialist Alternative Provision for primary-aged pupils (4-11) with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are committed to a trauma-informed, therapeutic approach, providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where every child can rebuild confidence and thrive. We are expanding and seeking passionate, experienced, and resilient individuals to join our dedicated team in Market Rasen.
If you have a proven track record of supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH and are ready to make a profound difference, we want to hear from you. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality support to our pupils. You will work closely with the class teacher and therapeutic team to implement bespoke learning and behavioural plans, helping pupils engage positively with our broad, adapted curriculum.
Hours: Term Time only, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Requirements:
- Significant previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role with pupils with SEND, particularly SEMH.
- Proven ability to implement positive behaviour management strategies and support emotional regulation.
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice and the importance of therapeutic care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a patient and resilient nature.
