We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care.
Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation among children.
- Supervise and support children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns in line with regulatory requirements.
- Foster effective communication with parents and guardians regarding children's development and daily routines.
- Organise the nursery environment to ensure it is safe, clean, and stimulating for all children.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance childcare skills and knowledge.
Experience
- Proven experience working with young children within a nursery or early childhood setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development stages.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience in managing behavioural issues sensitively and effectively.
