We are recruiting on behalf of a leading construction business seeking an experienced Social Value Manager to take ownership of Social Value delivery across multiple live projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor with a strong commitment to meaningful community impact, employment & skills delivery, and measurable social value outcomes.
The Role
You will take full ownership of Social Value Plans across projects, ensuring all contractual commitments are delivered, evidenced and reported throughout the lifecycle of each scheme.
This is a strategic and delivery-focused position requiring strong stakeholder engagement, data reporting capability, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver all Social Value commitments across live construction projects
- Manage and monitor performance against Social Value targets
- Collect, analyse and report qualitative and quantitative data (including use of platforms such as Social Value Portal)
- Engage with local communities to identify needs and develop impactful initiatives
- Build relationships with clients, local authorities, education providers and VCSE organisations
- Coordinate employment, skills, work experience and apprenticeship opportunities
- Collaborate with the supply chain to capture social value contributions (local labour, apprentices, volunteering, charitable activity etc.)
- Support Considerate Constructors Scheme requirements and site audits
- Contribute to tender submissions through research, planning and case study development
- Produce project newsletters and communications to showcase impact
What Were Looking For
- Experience delivering Social Value within the construction sector
- Strong xiskglj understanding of employment & skills programmes and community engagement
- Experience reporting against contractual Social Value targets
- Confident stakeholder manager across multiple levels
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Knowledge of Social Value measurement frameworks and portals
