We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, multi-disciplinary construction contractor with a strong pipeline of building refurbishment works across the North West. They are currently seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support delivery on a refurbishment project based in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step up into a leadership-focused role within a supportive and community-driven business.
The Role
- Working closely with the Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of site operations.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing allocated work areas and ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with company procedures
- Supervising subcontractors and monitoring site activity
- Supporting site safety, quality control, and productivity targets
- Assisting with planning, scheduling and recording labour, materials and progress
- Communicating delays or issues to the site management team
- Engaging with client representatives where required
- Contributing to investigations and supporting a positive, collaborative site culture
- Ensuring high levels of customer and client satisfaction
This role offers hands-on exposure to site management and is ideal for someone who is eager to develop into a more senior leadership position over time.
