Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction contractor delivering kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes across social housing properties in the Bradford area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a stable, reputable business with a strong pipeline of work. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations on occupied social housing projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations for kitchen and bathroom replacement works
- Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers
- Ensure works are delivered in line with programme and client expectations
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality, and compliance
- Liaise with residents, housing officers, and client representatives professionally
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections
- Monitor progress, report on performance, and resolve on-site issues
- Ensure works are completed with minimal disruption in occupied properties
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing refurbishment
- Strong background in kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes
- Experience working in occupied properties is essential
- Good knowledge of health & safety regulations and construction standards
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and programmes simultaneously
