Senior Signmaker / Production Manager Signs & Graphics
Location: Cambridge

Are you a highly skilled Signmaker with the leadership ability to manage a busy production team?
Do you thrive on delivering high-quality signage and graphics while keeping jobs running smoothly and on time?
We are signage and branding specialists offering expertise in design, manufacture and installation of external, interior, exhibition and display, health and safety, and vehicles. We’re now looking for a Senior Signmaker / Production Manager to lead our workshop, oversee projects from start to finish, and bring hands-on expertise to every job.
The Role:
- Manage day-to-day production workflow, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Take a lead role in sign manufacture, application, and installation (vinyl, wide-format prints, fabrication, fitting).
- Supervise and support the production team, providing training and mentoring where needed.
- Liaise with Sales/Project Managers and clients to ensure quality standards and smooth project delivery.
- Maintain workshop organisation, H&S compliance, and stock control.
- Apply vehicle graphics and wraps to a professional finish.
- Install a variety of signage including illuminated signs, trays, panels, totems and vinyl graphics.
The Person:
- Proven track record in signmaking, production, and installation.
- Strong knowledge of materials, substrates, and application techniques (particularly architectural and wrap media).
- Confident with tools, machinery, and signmaking software (e.g. RIP, vinyl plotters, HP Latex & Mimaki printers).
- Clarity software desirable but not essential.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage staff and workloads effectively.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing top-quality work.
- Valid UK driving licence (essential).
- IPAF or PASMA qualification beneficial.
- Ability to work at height and outdoors in varied conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and stay away when required.
