ROLE – Senior Bid Manager (Hybrid Working – 2 Days Home & 3 Days Office)

COMPANY – A nationally recognised, tier one building contractor with a network of offices across the UK. This position sits within the South Region which is comprised of a number of regional offices and they cover an area including Hamps, Berks, Surrey, Sussex, Kent and South London.

PROJECTS – Typically delivering schemes from £10m to £60m in sectors which include education (primary, secondary and higher), healthcare, commercial and leisure. The bulk of their work is procured through public sector led frameworks like SCAPE, Pagabo and the DFE.

RESPONSIBILITIES – As a Senior Bid Manager you would report into one of the Regional Pre-Construction Managers. You will act as the figurehead for bids in the 2nd stage of PCSA (Pre-Construction Services Agreement). You will therefore be project managing and co-ordinating a team that would include a Design Manager, Estimator, Building Services Manager and Planner. You would be expected to attend client tender meetings on a regular basis. Once a project is secured you would hand over to the delivery team and delivery Project Manager.
