Footballco is the world's largest football content and media business. Our mission is to give fans more of the game by building football communities that entertain, inform, and inspire action. We are a team of over 300 people, in 16 countries around the world, working across both our own media brands such as GOAL, MUNDIAL, CALCIOMERCATO and KOOORA and working on partnerships with leading clubs, leagues and brands.
The role is being offered on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract with the view to it becoming permanent. We are looking for a creative producer with agency experience to join our exciting and expanding creative department. We live at the intersection of fashion, music, youth and football culture so we are receptive to candidates from these worlds with demonstrable capabilities of delivering engaging and impactful branded content to a global audience for our client brands. Creative and innovative, the ideal candidate is passionate about the beautiful game from the grassroots to professional levels.
The successful candidate will require the ability to deliver compelling storytelling in executing branded content ideas to tight deadlines. The Creative Producer will be a pivotal cog in the Footballco commercial Production team closely aligned to FootballCo's Creative and Design teams to support the creation of content that will engage global audiences on behalf of our clients. You will own an expansive black book and possess excellent organisational, negotiation, budgeting & project management skills along with a deep understanding of what makes engaging video content primarily across social spaces for global brand activations.
An understanding of the latest production techniques and social media trends are a must along with exceptional talent and client relationship management. You will be part of a team that lives for football and operates to its calendar so excellent communication and planning skills are also essential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Researching, planning and delivering filmed content for digital platforms primarily and potentially for experiential + immersive concepts that are executed both domestically and globally.
- Project management inclusive of scoping through to client liaising.
- Identify third party partners in the UK and internationally that can complement our storytelling capability while ensuring value to FootballCo is achieved when completing associated agreements.
- Secure and oversee all production requirements for filmed, digital, experiential and immersive productions from pre- through post-production inclusive of footage, music and font licensing.
- Deliver content to required technical specifications.
- Ensure safety of all crew and talent engaged on FootballCo productions both domestically and internationally.
- Accurate budget creation, management and reporting.
- Knowledge of the rights management ecosystem relating to football content.
- Copy proofreading and video content QC.
- Enthusiasm toward resolving creative challenges and desire to create market-leading content by continually developing and improving the quality of our output.
- Proven capability to think ahead to solve problems before they become problems.
- Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail in fast-paced situations.
- A collaborative attitude to building relationships internally and externally.
- An effective communicator who is confident in communicating concepts and issues with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- An understanding of production technologies and innovation inclusive of a solid black book of key production personnel inclusive of DoP's, Shooters, Soundies, Art Directors, Editors and sound engineers.

- A good understanding of football and all that it transcends in popular culture (being a football fan is a bonus, but not essential).
- A can-do attitude and the necessary work ethic to handle the fast pace and sometimes unforgiving nature of the creative industry.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate your thinking to those around you.
- The ability to be extremely disciplined and ensure the agency process and protocol is fulfilled, while visibly demonstrating an adaptable approach.
- A hunger and a willingness to learn and the desire to pass this on to your peers.

- Experienced producer of filmed and digital branded content primarily.
- Effective communicator and team player who will collaborate with creatives, designers, account managers and strategists to create compelling work.
- Fully focused and organised with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Impeccable numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to ascertain production requirements to optimally deliver creative concepts within fiscal and time constraints.
- Comprehensive experience in budget creation, tracking and reconciling.
- Proven negotiation skills relating to talent booking, image/ music licensing and contracting with suppliers.
- Demonstrable experience in confidently communicating concepts, budgets and issues with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong background in moving image content creation and associated technologies extending to a comprehensive understanding of kit and processes for low-end to high-end productions utilising a range of filming solutions.
- Solid experience overseeing all facets of pre-production inclusive of crewing, talent identification and PPM preparation.
- Firm understanding of all post-production workflows inclusive of 2D/ 3D motion production pipelines, formatting and distribution to social platforms.
- An understanding of delivering for experiential spaces is beneficial.
- Comprehensive expertise of digital file formats utilised in content creation and deliveries.
- Knowledge of how branded content can complement and drive a wider strategy to encourage client audience engagement and growth.
- Comfortable and confident in working with talent.
- Experienced in conducting on-set risk assessments and all Health & Safety production protocols for both Covid and non-Covid worlds.
- Additional Arabic, Spanish or German language skills are advantageous.
- Experiential content delivery experience is welcome.
- Experience using Unreal Engine and other immersive technologies is valuable though not essential.
