You will ensure front-end environments are lightning-fast and consistent, while working with back-end teams to maintain robust APIs and delivery.
  • Multimedia and Video Technology: In a video-first world, you will manage the tech stack that powers our visual storytelling. This includes evolving how we deliver video on our sites and apps, overseeing Video Player integrations, and co-managing Media Asset Management (MAM) systems to support our global video strategy.
  • Conversion and Fan Retention: Utilise user data to build personalised journeys that convert casual readers into loyal fans. You will develop specific features for key customer segments and work closely with distribution teams to ensure content reaches fans through well-designed onboarding flows and optimised touchpoints.

What you have:

  • Strong understanding of working with both front-end and back-end engineering teams to deliver scalable products.
  • Ability to manage a range of technologies pertaining to modern day content production, particularly video delivery and monetisation.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to link publishing efficiencies and user engagement to revenue outcomes.

  • Data-driven and always curious about how technology can improve the speed and quality of content delivery.
  • Strong product operational knowledge with a deep interest in digital and technology innovation.
  • Highly organised with an eye for detail and the ability to manage complex global stakeholder relationships.
