About the role
This is a 4-month fixed-term contract, working 2–3 days per week.
Footballco is looking for an experienced Paid Content Manager to join our affiliate team.
The position will require you to execute numerous global campaigns throughout the rest of the year across paid social, PPC, and arbitrage to attract high-intent users and drive conversion across our numerous affiliate verticals, such as ticketing, streaming, VPN, finance, and others.
It will include videos, static posts, and it will require daily interaction with our internal teams, such as Affiliate, Client Services, Ad Operations, and Social, plus external clients.
As a member of the Affiliate team, you will be surrounded by affiliate and conversion experts.
You will be based in London and will report to the Affiliate VP.
What you'll be doing
- Managing all aspects of global paid content implementation including campaign creation, tracking, optimisation and reporting, delivering content on social, search engines and other publishers.
- Ensuring best practice and optimisation are implemented correctly to achieve desired performance and, in most cases, strict targets.
- Build and implement third party support to scale and manage our paid content operations globally.
You will be responsible for liaising with partners to ensure we get the engagement from them that we need and ensuring quality of service remains high.
- Demonstrate platform expertise and develop content distribution strategies for internal teams and external clients.
You will be the resident expert on all things paid content across the business.
- Manage relationships with publishers, media vendors, and social vendors to maximize the performance of existing buys and stay current with new products/ features.
- Continually test and evaluate new strategies, tactics, and partnerships to evolve and improve our product offering.
- Contribute to the development of new features and functionality for our website, apps, and family of products.
- Strong budget management capabilities, ensuring channels remain within budget and hit performance KPIs.
- Be curious, flexible, and willing to get involved in general business.
You will sit in the affiliate team alongside content and partnership experts, developing ideas and managing our paid content audiences.
What you have
- Significant experience of managing paid content campaigns.
- A strong track record of making things happen, challenging, and driving performance with enthusiasm and vigor.
- Expert analytics skills and a strong attention to detail.
A love of data and desire to interrogate data to find insights then deliver those insights to relevant teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines at once.
- Expert knowledge of social, search engine, and publishing platforms; advertising data, and social/digital trends and existing relationships with the major platforms.
- Experience and comfort in communicating with different audiences, tailoring messages accordingly.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, particularly influencing and listening skills.
- Experience preparing, analysing and presenting campaign insights to partners.
- Strong business knowledge and ability to use creative thinking to resolve problems and/or roadblocks as they occur, and know when to escalate.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with third-party ad servers.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics. Experience managing the onsite inventory of a large global publisher or website.
- Managed and maintained media distribution for portfolio of client accounts.
