We are the Football Foundation - the Premier League, the FA and government’s charity that delivers outstanding grassroots facilities, more and better places to play, transforming lives and communities where it is needed most. This is a key organisation-wide role supporting the delivery of the Foundation’s strategic projects, business improvement initiatives, governance programmes and ESG Roadmap. Acting as a trusted internal partner, you will build strong relationships across the Foundation to understand priorities, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide support where it will have the greatest impact.
About the Football Foundation: Over the last 25 years, the Foundation has awarded more than 75,000 grants worth more than £1.3 billion to deliver the grassroots facilities that every community across the country needs and deserves. As the biggest sport charity in the country, we’re a unique partnership between key football partners with a shared goal – ensuring every community in England has a great place to play. What are we looking for? We’re looking for an experienced project and business improvement professional with a proven ability to lead complex projects, engage stakeholders and successfully deliver organisational change. You will have strong project management, analytical and influencing skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities, develop robust business cases and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to senior decision-makers. Working across a varied portfolio of initiatives, you will apply sound judgement and a pragmatic approach to provide the right level of challenge, coordination and project leadership. You will be adaptable, proactive and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment. A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or APM PMQ, is desirable but not essential.
